In her last film, I Could Go On Singing (1963), the legendary Judy Garland stars as an American singer who visits London and can’t resist the temptation to meet up once again with a lost love (Dirk Bogarde) and the now teenaged son she left him to care for many years before. Ronald Neame (Tunes of Glory, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie) directs, and the title tune is by the incomparable duo of Harold Arlen and E.Y. (“Yip”) Harburg.
